TreesLouisville is a nonprofit organization dedicated to growing and protecting Louisville's urban tree canopy through tree planting, education, advocacy, and long-term care. Since 2015, we've worked alongside neighborhoods, schools, businesses, volunteers, and community partners to plant and distribute tens of thousands of trees across Louisville - especially in areas most affected by heat, flooding, and low canopy coverage. Together, we're building a healthier, cooler, greener city for future generations.

Our mission is to improve the health and quality of life of Louisville's current and future generations through a robust, equitable, and diverse community tree canopy.

Our vision is to a create a greener, healthier, and more equitable Louisville where every community thrives under the shade of a flourishing urban canopy.
