Floracliff Nature Sanctuary is a 346-acre non-profit nature preserve located in the Kentucky River Palisades region in southern Fayette County. The sanctuary includes a diverse and mature forest, Kentucky River bottomlands, swiftly running streams and limestone cliffs. Floracliff’s work focuses on sustaining native biodiversity through stewardship and restoration, nurturing awareness and appreciation of nature through educational programs, and contributing data and building connections through citizen science projects. Floracliff offers a variety of programs, volunteer and research opportunities, and hands-on workshops to interested individuals and groups.
