Making A Difference Now (MADN) is a Lexington KY-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit whose mission is to rescue animals, educate communities, and advocate for animal welfare.  We provide direct services to animals in need and to the people who love and care for them. We provide training, education, and support for the animal welfare community and the public at large.  We work to move our world in the direction of our vision.  Vision:  A safe and compassionate world for all beings where animal and human welfare are fundamental priorities. Companion animals have safe, loving, forever homes. Farm animals are treated humanely with room to move and grass to walk on. Research animals do not suffer and are only involved in research essential for human health. Wildlife have clean, safe habitat where they can thrive. People who engage in cruelty toward people or animals are prosecuted to the maximum extent of the law, and laws, enforcement, and policies reflect commitment to the value of all beings.
