Join KNN for the Small Nonprofit Fundraising Intensive - a program specially designed to help small Kentucky nonprofits set and achieve fundraising goals to further their missions (small nonprofits = annual revenue of under $2 million).
The Small Nonprofit Fundraising Intensive draws on the expertise of nationally recognized The Fund Raising School at Indiana University's Lilly School of Philanthropy for an immersive two-day training, paired with a year-long cohort of peer and consultant support. The cohort includes strategies to help your organization stay on track with your fundraising goals through peer connections and facilitated cohort coaching calls. This program helps small nonprofits:

- Build confidence in donor engagement
- Leverage limited resources effectively
More than a training, this program provides hands-on, interactive learning and ongoing support to help small nonprofits address real-world fundraising challenges and seize opportunities unique to their organization.
To help you achieve your fundraising goals, you’ll receive:
- Two-day training with experts from The Fund Raising School, including interactive training on making the ask
- A comprehensive, easy-to-use study guide with models for future reference
- Check-ins (4) and support with your Coach/Facilitator and cohort, as well as 1:1 coaching if needed (up to 3 hours)
- Networking and peer support from other professionals in the cohort facing with similar challenges
- An online community platform for communicating and connecting with your Coach/Facilitator and cohort members
Two-Day Training Details:
- Day 1: November 6, 9am-5pm ET (8:30am check in and breakfast)
- Day 2: November 7, 8:30am-5:00pm ET
- Continental breakfast and lunch are provided to participants on both days of the training.

Coaching & Implementation Support Details:
Program participants receive support on their goal-setting and progress for a full year as part of the course cohort, including:
- Access to four online group coaching calls with your cohort
- Receive up to three hours of individualized 1:1 coaching, as needed
- Receive ongoing guidance on setting realistic metrics and measuring progress
- Access to an online platform to maintain connections with your cohort peers for questions, resources, and more
Registration Details & Participation Commitment:
- Generous support from the Fidelity Charitable Catalyst Fund allows KNN to offer this program to KNN members at a significantly reduced fee of $249. This fee includes two days of expert training (continental breakfast and lunch provided) and year-long support to help you reach your goals!
- Full twelve-month participation in all components of the Small Nonprofit Fundraising Intensive is required. If the original registrant leaves the organization or cannot finish the Intensive, another staff or board member from the organization must step in to ensure that the organization’s goals are supported and cohort participation continues through the end of the program.
- We encourage organizations to register multiple team members to engage in a unified fundraising approach and strengthen internal collaboration.
- No cancellations or refunds are available. We are unable to provide refunds for this program. If you are no longer able to attend after registering, you may transfer your registration to a colleague at your organization.
- Note: This program is limited to 40 participants.
- Your organization must have an active KNN membership in order to participate.
- Full participation in the Fundraising for Small Nonprofits two-day training fulfills education point requirements for the CFRE International application for initial certification and/or recertification. Fundraising for Small Nonprofits qualifies for 13.5 CFRE Education Points/Hours.
