Webinar Series: Power and Accountability for Organizational Leaders

Wednesday, December 7, 2022 (11:00 AM - 1:00 PM) (EST)

Description

As leaders, what does it mean to be accountable to our staff? What happens to trust, relationships, and organizational culture when staff do not feel that leadership is responsive or accountable to their needs, especially when it comes to identity-based marginalization or bias within the organization? How can leaders leverage their positional and identity power to support their staff with marginalized identities to create a culture of equity and belonging in which all staff feel seen and valued?

If these questions have ever entered or are at the forefront of your mind then this workshop is for you. This workshop will unpack accountability through the lens of empathy and understanding. Participants will explore the difference between accountability and shame and what it looks, sounds, and feels like to build trust and accountability between leadership and staff.

Offered by our partner, Minnesota Council of Nonprofits

Note: When registering, you will register as individuals and not as organizations. You will not need to enter your nonprofit's information when registering in the MCN system. If you have trouble registering at the correct rate, please contact info@minnesotanoprofits.org.
