Webinar: Board Governance with an Equity Lens
Wednesday, May 11, 2022 (4:30 PM - 6:00 PM) (EDT)
Description
Too often boards stagger behind staff and key stakeholders of an organization as they grapple through their journey towards equity and justice. Boards also struggle in recruiting a “diverse” pool of candidates, and perhaps even in retaining them. In this training you will take away tools and strategies to help increase “diversity” of your board, ensure equity values are infused in the board’s culture, and reflect on our individual responsibilities in creating an inclusive and equitable space. You’ll also learn about the use of quotation marks here around the word diversity.
