On our May 30 Town Hall Recording: As part of the national opioid settlement fund, Kentucky has received approximately $900 million. Half of these funds are being distributed to local governments across Kentucky for treatment, prevention, and intervention. On our 5/30 call (recording), Chris Evans, Executive Director of the Kentucky Opioid Abatement Advisory Commission, and Jessie Halladay, Deputy Director, join us to share the latest information on these settlement funds, an update on the state grant program and its priorities, and local distribution, including tips for how nonprofits can engage as on-the-ground experts to help their city and county governments best use these funds to provide opioid treatment, prevention, and intervention.
