NEW DATE! On the September 12 huddle, we will continue our discussion on microaggressions and stereotypes in our workplaces and how they impact the work we do & the communities we serve. In light of recent Supreme Court rulings, we will also discuss the current state of DEI initiatives & programs in the workplace and explore ways to ensure our efforts are impactful and effective. We will discuss affirmative action, potential far-reaching impacts after these rulings, and how nonprofits committed to DEI efforts can stay the course.
HUDDLE COMMITMENT/EXPECTATIONS:
- By joining the Staffing Peer Huddle, you are making a commitment to be an active participant in Huddle meetings. As each Huddle builds on previous Huddle meetings, we ask you to plan to join us every other month, if possible.
- We ask that you participate in the Huddle with an openness to different perspectives, valuing a space for honest discussions where all opinions are honored. Confidentiality is expected of all Huddle participants.
