Staffing Peer Huddle
Tuesday, February 7, 2023 (2:00 PM - 3:30 PM) (EST)
Description
February huddle topic: Retaining and Engaging Employees from Underrepresented Groups.
Recruiting diverse staff is important - retaining and engaging your diverse staff is equally as important. An organization’s recruitment success is measured by its employees' retention rates. As we dive into Part 2 of this Interactive Huddle Session Series, we will discuss the steps nonprofit organizations can take to create inclusive workplace environments where diverse employees feel welcomed, a true sense of belonging, and a connection to the organization’s mission & purpose.
This session will build on issues discussed in an earlier huddle - “Recruiting Employees from Underrepresented Groups,” scheduled for January 17. The topics will complement one another, and you are encouraged - but not required - to attend both sessions in this special two-part series!
Note: The Peer Huddle will NOT be recorded.
