Wednesday, February 17, 2021 1:00 PM - Wednesday, March 10, 2021 2:00 PM (EST)

Description

Four 60-minute webinars:

Wednesdays, February 17, 24 and March 3, 10 | 1:00 pm-2:00 pm EST

Join this four-week webinar series that provides conceptual and practical approaches to planning in times of uncertainty. Participants will leave with templates, tools, and tips to help lead their team through change.

  • February 17 | Rapid Planning Overview
  • February 24 | Scenario Modeling – Financial and Operational
  • March 3 | Strategic Collaboration
  • March 10 | Business/Mission Modeling

Who Should Attend: Nonprofit leadership teams, program directors and managers, multi-hat nonprofit staffers, board members, anyone interested in leading a planning process.

The past year has solidified the concept "The Strategic Plan is Dead. Long Live Strategy." While strategic planning can help support your organizations long term goals, adaptive planning is crucial in a changing world. Maximizing mission impact while sustaining the energy of your staff and board is a top priority in 2021.

Participants in this four-part series will learn and practice an approach for in-the-moment planning that encompasses team dynamics, communication, operations, programming, and financial sustainability. Course registrants will also gain access to multiple toolkits to aid this planning process. This course will conclude by exploring two related concepts – strategic collaboration and business modeling – as tools to find new mission impacts in a rapidly changing world.

At the conclusion of this course, MNA will convene a monthly Affinity Group call for registrants to discuss course topics with one another and learn from each other moving forward. Together, we will create a community of collaboration, innovation, and resilience to meet tomorrow’s challenges.

Participants in this workshop will:

  • Be prepared to lead their teams through business modeling and adaptive planning
  • Understand the importance of collaborative partnerships and mission impact
  • Access tools and templates to plan and monitor their mission impact and organizational health

All sessions will be recorded and the recording will be available to all registered participants. Participants who are unable to attend one or more of the sessions will still have access to all course materials.

We are committed to making our online courses as accessible as possible to all learners. Please contact us with any concerns or requests.
