Nonprofits have always been and always will be at the forefront of addressing community needs, and that’s why the Louisville Nonprofit Coalition is hosting two listening sessions and a survey - to hear from you! 

The Louisville Nonprofit Coalition, or LouNC, is a local alliance of Kentucky Nonprofit Network members - the state association of charitable nonprofits. LouNC was created to ensure a unified public policy voice on the local level. 

Over the years, and especially in Louisville Metro’s most recent budget, it is clear that the city’s funding partnerships with nonprofits to address community needs and solve problems are changing. 

We think nonprofits on the frontlines of these partnerships, those closest to the residents impacted and in need, should have a seat at the table to reimagine a more effective and impactful partnership.  

To proactively inform the city’s reimagined partnerships, it’s important to hear from you. We held our first listening session on August 27 but there's still time to join! LouNC is hosting one more in-person listening session:

We will use the feedback collected at these listening sessions and from the survey to lift up the nonprofit sector’s identified needs with the Greenberg Administration, Metro Council, and other partners. This is an important opportunity to have your voice heard and we hope to see you at a listening session. 

To ensure enough space for everyone attending, pre-registration is required. During registration, you will be asked to select the September 4 listening session. Listening session registration is free and open to anyone interested in this important discussion.
