On the June 5 call: Johnny Collett from the University of Kentucky’s Human Development Institute and Laurie Mays from the Kentucky Chamber Foundation co-present on advancing disability inclusion in the nonprofit workforce. Laurie will share about the Disability Hiring Academy (DHA) and its ability to introduce practical strategies and insights to help nonprofits better understand, hire, and retain workers with disabilities. Johnny will bring additional perspective from the Human Development Institute, highlighting systems-level insights and best practices for building inclusive environments that support both recruitment and retention. Together, they will explore how nonprofits can take meaningful steps toward equity by centering disability inclusion in organizational practices.
