Exclusive KNN Member Benefit 



KNN offers free Fundraising Peer Huddles for member organizations’ staff and board members to strengthen their fundraising practices. Using KNN’s Principles & Practices for Nonprofit Excellence in Kentucky tools as the basis for discussion, the Fundraising Huddle meets on the second Wednesday of every other month from 2-3:30pm ET. See below for dates.

The Fundraising Huddle offers KNN members a virtual opportunity to discuss recommended fundraising practices with their peers and discussions are facilitated by Tawanda Owsley, seasoned fundraising executive and Senior Vice President/Chief Development and Marketing Officer at Hosparus Health. Tawanda has more than 20 years of fundraising experience and proven results, including a wide range of nonprofit leadership and philanthropic expertise.

Participation in the Fundraising Peer Huddle is free and available exclusively for KNN members – join in the conversation! If you are a KNN member and need assistance logging in to register, email us.


HUDDLE COMMITMENT/EXPECTATIONS: 

  • By joining the Fundraising Peer Huddle, you are making a commitment to be an active participant in Huddle meetings.  As each Huddle builds on previous Huddle meetings, we ask you to plan to join us every other month, if possible.
  • We ask that you participate in the Huddle with an openness to different perspectives, valuing a space for honest discussions where all opinions are honored. Confidentiality is expected of all Huddle participants.
