Participants will cover several key topics essential for implementing effective data governance practices. The session will begin with an overview of the fundamental concepts of data governance, management, and security. Following this introduction, participants will learn how to conduct a data maturity assessment using an assessment tool to evaluate their organization's current data maturity level. Through this assessment, participants will identify strengths and areas for improvement to inform their data governance strategy. Subsequently, participants will learn how to engage in stakeholder mapping, and define roles and access levels within their organization to promote accountability and clarity in data governance implementation. They will then explore a data governance roadmap featuring simplified steps and strategic questions to guide them in initiating and sustaining effective data governance practices.
