Collaboration by Design: Tools to Clarify Roles, Decisions, and Accountability
Thursday, April 9, 2026 (1:00 PM - 2:30 PM) (EDT)
Description
In fast-paced nonprofit settings, clarity is key to effective collaboration. This session equips leaders with two practical frameworks—POP (Purpose, Outcomes, Process) and DARCI (Decision-Making and Accountability Model)—to improve communication, streamline decision-making, and strengthen shared ownership. Participants will apply these tools to real projects or partnerships, learning how to bring structure, alignment, and efficiency to collaborative work. Leaders will leave with ready-to-use templates and approaches that make teamwork and collaboration more transparent, inclusive, and results-oriented.
Outcomes - By the end of this session, participants will:
- Explore power dynamics inherent in collaborative endeavors and how to work with these dynamics productively.
- Use the POP and DARCI frameworks to bring clarity and accountability to collaborative work
- Define roles, responsibilities, and decision-making processes for smoother teamwork.
- Improve communication and meeting effectiveness across teams and organizations.
- Strengthen follow-through, shared ownership, and alignment on priorities.
You can register for this session individually or register for a series of three workshops for $120 (members). Click here to see the full series.
