The mission of the Buy Local Louisville Foundation is to be an educational force for promoting the Buy Local message to the Greater Louisville region.  Specifically, our purpose is to promote entrepreneurial activities as well as business and consumer initiatives intended to build local economic strength; to educate the public on the importance of buying local to support our local economy and sense of place; and to encourage the growth of community-based, locally-owned businesses, particularly in economically distressed areas.

The BLLF supports activities and events that will make citizens aware of the power of Buying Local for creating sustainable community and economically just neighborhoods in Louisville Metro and the surrounding areas.
