About

Pine Mountain is a 125-mile forested ridgeline in Central Appalachia that is a critical wildlife refuge and migratory route. For more than two decades, KNLT has worked to protect, connect, and restore the Pine Mountain Wildlands Corridor, the largest conservation effort in Kentucky's history. Additionally, KNLT works with conservation partners to protect corridors and biodiversity in other regions of the state.
