We believe every foster, adoptive, and kinship family deserves a village. We walk alongside families and children in care by offering connection, comfort, and community through support, training, and shared moments of joy. Our Care Closets provide essential items,  clothing, toys, and games to meet immediate needs with dignity and love. In partnership with DCBS, we work to raise awareness and help foster and adoptive families not just survive, but truly thrive. It takes a village..... we're here to be yours!

FAPA of NKY (Foster Adoptive Parent Association of Northern Kentucky) is a grassroots nonprofit dedicated to walking alongside foster, adoptive, and kinship families with compassion, connection, and community. Through heartfelt support, family events, care closets, and specialized resources like ethnic hair care kits, we help families meet the everyday and unique needs of the children they love. Our work is more than services it's about showing up, filling in gaps, and reminding caregivers that they are not alone. Every kit packed, training offered, or hug shared at an event is a step toward healing, stability, and hope for children in care and the families who open their hearts to them.
