About

The Asphalt Institute has been serving the needs of liquid asphalt manufacturers and suppliers worldwide since 1919. We are the oldest, foremost authority on asphalt and its uses anywhere in the world and yet today, remain focused on our future and our role in serving our members and promoting an ever changing industry.

The Institute is a non-profit, IRS designated 501(c)(6) trade association that represents over 90 percent of the liquid asphalt produced in North America and a growing percentage of that produced in overseas markets.
