About

Our Mission Statement:

Anderson Humane Society is a nonprofit society dedicated to serving the homeless and abandoned animal population of Anderson County Kentucky. AHS leads the community in elevating peoples' beliefs, attitudes and behaviors to enhance the quality of life for companion animals. We strive to grow AHS through growing participation from the community - increasing volunteers, donors and membership; building and maintaining a spacious, modern facility; and implementing and sustaining community-wide educational programs regarding pet care, humane treatment, low-cost spay/neuter, vaccination and licensing opportunities and the cost of unwanted and homeless animals.
