Hidden fees, inaccurate organizational information, withheld funds, and aggressive SEO tactics erode donor trust and cut into the resources on which nonprofits depend. 

In response, the National Council of Nonprofits (NCN) and 52 state and regional associations - including KNN - representing nearly 40,000 nonprofits published shared principles for ethical online fundraising platforms.
