A middle manager is expected to lead while holding onto their vision as they report to a supervisor and lead others. Understanding your roles and responsibilities is critical to middle managing in a highly functioning ecosystem. With communication and work systems identified, relationships will function at a higher level, work flow will be easier to anticipate and delegate, and expectations are better managed. Whether you serve as a senior administrator or program director, this workshop will increase your awareness of adaptable systems to unify your vision. This session is appropriate for someone with a few years into their position. Through a series of exercises and group discussion, participants will engage to define roles and responsibilities, articulate systems of communication, and clarify work systems for themselves and their team.
