KNN and Grant Ready Kentucky are proud to present this two-day grant workshop in Louisville on March 20 and 21. The workshop will take place in the University of Louisville Shelby Campus Conference Center, Founders Union Building.
This Grants 101 & 201 Workshop series, led by grant professional Melissa Vermillion, GPC, MBA, will teach participants how to research and apply for grant funding for nonprofits. Day One provides an introduction to the grant process, and Day Two takes a deeper dive into a winning federal grant application.

About the instructor:
Melissa Vermillion, GPC, MBA has extensive experience with state and federal grant writing as well as a particular interest in assisting rural nonprofits and communities achieve their goals. She is one of only a few individuals in Kentucky who have earned the Grant Professional Certification through the Grant Professionals Certification Institute. Melissa has successfully written grant applications to a variety of public and private funders, securing over $40 million in grant funding.
