Social media is the most popular way for your organization to engage with constituents. Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram – choosing a platform is its own challenge but how can a nonprofit keep up with multiple platforms efficiently and effectively?
In this free 60 minute webinar, we’ll provide an overview and demonstration of tools such as Hootsuite, Facebook Publishing, Tweetdeck, and time for Q&A.
By the end of this session, attendees will have learned:
- How to sign up for HootSuite (free account and the nonprofit discount option)
- A demonstration of how to manage one account on HootSuite and how to add additional accounts of other platforms
- An overview of Tweetdeck and how to customize it
- How to utilize Facebook Publishing Tools to schedule posts on Facebook
- Q&A time with the instructor
About the Presenter
Melanie Meyer, Technology Adviser at Tech Impact, works with nonprofits to help elevate their technology use to further their mission. Previously, she served as director of marketing and technology for BVU, a Northeast Ohio nonprofit that works with businesses to optimize their community involvement and strengthen nonprofits through education, consulting, training and coaching. While at BVU, she convened national and local technology, digital marketing, and communication experts to help nonprofits put technology to greater use.
