Kentucky Nonprofit Day at the Capitol 2026

Description

The Capitol may be under construction, but that won't stop Kentucky nonprofits from celebrating and advocating in Frankfort!

Join us at the 19th annual KY Nonprofit Day at the Capitol! 

Join your colleagues from across the Commonwealth for the sector’s day of advocacy in Frankfort. We’ll celebrate the 2025 advocacy successes of our members and the legislators/officials championing their issues and rally and urge legislators to support the sector’s 2026 priorities. We hope to see you there!

Agenda: 

  • 8:00-10:30am: Visits with legislators - please take advantage of this time to schedule visits with legislators. Click here to find your legislator and request your appointment ASAP.
  • 10:30 am: Check in/Registration
  • 10:45-11:30am: Nonprofit Meeting
  • 11:30-12:45pm: Nonprofit Advocacy Awards Program
  • 12:45pm: Group Photo
  • 1:00-1:45pm: Visits with legislators - please take advantage of this time to schedule visits with legislators. Click here to find your legislator and request your appointment ASAP.

  • Two windows exist for visits with your legislators - please call now to schedule an appointment on January 27 (see suggested windows of time above). Click here to access KNN's 2025 Public Policy page, which includes a link to Find Your Legislator, where you can find their contact info. 
  • Join us for a Virtual Town Hall on January 8- Prepping for KY Nonprofit Day at the Capitol. We walk you through the day's agenda AND provide tips for successful legislative meetings and general advocacy. Don't miss out and learn how to make the most of your day!

Registration Details: 

  • Not yet a KNN member? Join KNN prior to online registration to take advantage of our members-only registration fee.
  • Refunds: There are no refunds of registration fees. Registrations may be transferred to another participant at the same organization free of charge. Should you need to transfer registration, please emailus@kynonprofits.org and let us know the name and email address of the individual who will attend in your absence.
