Town Hall Meeting Recording: Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program (PSLF) & the Limited PSLF Waiver

KNN hosts calls every other week via Zoom to discuss updates related to COVID-19, nonprofit resources, advocacy initiatives, and other relevant topics. Join us at 10:30am ET every other Thursday. 

In this recording, hear from the US Department of Education's Office of Federal Student Aid. Learn more about the Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program (PSLF), which provides public service workers with federal student debt forgiveness after 10 years or 120 consecutive monthly payments. Many nonprofit employees are eligible for PSLF. Following a change to the program due to COVID, now and for a limited time, borrowers may receive credit for past periods of repayment that would otherwise not qualify for PSLF. The waiver ends October 31, 2022. Join us and a representative from the Department of Education as we discuss the PSLF program, and the steps borrowers need to take to make sure they get credit under the Limited PSLF Waiver.
